Description

Project was award: Contract D006031 is for JMR Excavation LLC in the amount of $1,398,881.00 and Contract D006032 is to Matco Electric Corporation in the amount of $132,900.00. The Company Name, Street Address, Federal Identification Number, Contract D number and Project Description should be clearly marked on the envelope, along with the words "BID DOCUMENTS". Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of: General Work Contract D006031: $94,000.00, Ninety-Four Thousand Dollars and 00/100, Electrical Work Contract: D006032: $4,000.00, Four Thousand Dollars and 00/100. General Construction Contract D006031: Project includes but is not limited to: installation of a new sanitary sewer including but not limited to gravity conveyance system, pump stations, force mains, horizontal directional drilling; installation of new water lines and appurtenances in relation to the dump and pump stations; construction of a new trailer dump and fill station; and removing and/or abandoning existing onsite wastewater disposal systems at Robert H. Treman State Park as listed in the contract documents. Engineer's Estimate Range: $1,613,840.00 - $2,183,425.00 Electrical Construction Contract D006032: Contract includes but is not limited to mounting the sewage pump station control panels, which are furnished by the GCW. Electrical Contract includes providing manual transfer switches, generator plugs, and all conduit and cable from these devices to the sewage pumps, level floats, sewage pump control panels, and source power to the buildings. Electrical Contract to include providing a portable standby generator. Electrical Contract includes excavation, trenching and backfill for all underground electrical improvements as listed in the contract documents. Completion of trenching and digging in campgrounds by: April 15, 2024. 3. Substantial completion by: June 20, 2024. General note: The park will be open to the public during construction. Camping is open May 16 - November 11, 2023. Swimming generally opens at the beginning of July and closes after Labor Day. Work on this contract is to be conducted in a manner that minimizes disruption to park operations and ensures patron safety. Existing sewage systems shall remain in service, with minimal interruptions, until the new system is ready for operation. Accommodations for specific events may be required. A schedule will be provided. Project Specific Liquidated Damages (Refer to Article 14.10 of the General Conditions).
