Greater Palm Bay Senior Center Renovation

Base Bid: 1. The Project Scope is to update existing non-ADA items to current ADA compliance outside and inside the building. The exterior and interior lighting is to be upgraded to LED fixtures. Deteriorated exterior T-111 siding on the Wood Shop and Main Building is to be replaced with Hardiplank siding. Existing brick mortar joints on the Main Building are to be repointed as required. Exterior doors are to be replaced with insulated hurricane rated doors. Replace irrigation set ups and heads. Replace/ repair existing HVAC ducts and grills as required. 2. Not included in the work is any revisions to the existing emergency fire alarm/sprinkler systems. Any work required to revise the existing fire alarm/ sprinkler system design shall be designed and permitted by a licensed fire alarm systems design and installation company and permitted under a separate permit. Windows Add Alternate: 1. Existing windows are to be replaced with hurricane rated insulated windows. 2. See Attachment B, Greater Palm Bay Senior Center Architectural Drawings, pg A-104, for specifications on the window replacement. Pedestrian Bridge Add Alternate: 1. Existing pedestrian bridge needs to be replaced. 2. See Attachment, Attachment E, Greater Palm Bay Senior Center Pedestrian Bridge Drawings, for specifications on the pedestrian bridge replacement.
