Description

Construct Four (4) Chemical Storage Rooms (76 Sf Each) on Floors 3 Through 6 of Reines Hall. Rooms Shall Be Constructed to Meet Group H-3 Occupancy Requirements. The Project Will Provide Dedicated Supply and Exhaust Fans, Vav Ventilation System, Gas Leak Detection System, and Storage Shelves in Each Room. Estimated Contract Time: 130 Days Prequalification Questionnaires Will Be Available Electronically at 4:00 Pm on May 30, 2023 From Uci Design & Construction Services. Two (2) Institutional or Higher Education Projects That Included Addition of New Spaces (Office, Storage, Lab, Etc.) Within an Existing Building Where the Construction Cost of This Scope Was at Least $700,000 and It Was Located in the State of California for Which the Firm Served as the Prime Contractor One (1) Project That That Included Installation New Supply or Exhaust Fans, Associated Duct Work, and Roof Repair for Which the Construction Cost Was at Least $250,000 Two (2) Projects That Were Constructed in an Occupied Building for Which the Construction Cost Was at Least $550,000 One (1) Project for Which Your Firm Self-performed at Least 10% of the Project Construction Cost Uci Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Responses to This Notice, to Waive Non-material Irregularities, and to Deem Contractors Prequalified for the Project. To Prequalify, Contractors Must Agree to Comply With All Conditions Including State Prevailing Wages, 10% Bid Bond, 100% Payment and Performance Bonds, and Insurance Requirements. General Building "B" California Contractors License Required.
