Building F2 Transportation Office Renovation

Building F2 in the Freeport Center has been home to the District Transportation Department for many years. The existing Building F2 was constructed in 1942 by the U.S. Navy as part of a supply depot. The Transportation Department offices need a major renovation as well as several other functions. Construction of the project may need to be phased. The scope of the project is as follows: • Remodel existing vacant spaces into a bus driver lounge • Remodel existing drive-through into a large training room • Construct new restrooms for training room and bus drivers • Construct new Transportation Department offices • Remodel existing spaces to create a mechanic’s lounge • Construct an outdoor seating area • Replace existing doors and windows in new remodeled area • Coordinate with a concurrent roof replacement project

Division 06 -	Wood, Plastics, and Composites, Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry.
Division 07 -	Thermal and Moisture Protection, Dampproofing and Waterproofing, Thermal Protection.
Division 08 -	Openings, Doors and Frames, Windows.
Division 09 -	Finishes, Plaster and Gypsum Board, Ceilings, Flooring, Painting and Coating.
Division 21 -	Fire Suppression.
Division 22 -	Plumbing.
Division 23 -	Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Instrumentation and Control for HVAC, HVAC Air Distribution.
Division 26 -	Electrical, Lighting.
