Replacement of Rooftop Units at Roy Gomm Elementary School

Scope of Work: Remove existing twenty-seven (27) rooftop units from Buildings A, B, and C including roof curb and replace with twenty-seven (27) new gas/electric rooftop units. Provide and install new 18" high roof curbs, connect gas piping, condensate piping, electrical and controls per the plans to the new units. In Buildings A and B, supply and return duct to transition in curb to existing supply and return drops. In Building C new ductwork will be required above the ceilings to connect to existing supply and return ducts. Also replace existing single deflection supply grilles in Buildings A and B with new double deflection grilles. Provide and install a new Alerton ACM global controller in the existing global controller enclosure. Additive Alternate A - Replace the two (2) existing 10-ton condensing units in the Administration Building and corresponding refrigerant piping and evaporator coil with new. The old roof curb for the condensing unit is to be demolished, and a new 18" high one will be provided and installed by the awarded contractor for new condensing units. CO2 controls are to be added to the existing furnace system for the Multi-Purpose Room. Demolish existing abandoned condensing unit on the administration roof and re-duct office adjacent to kitchen to existing system.
