Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project work consists of Project work consists of maintenance dredging in the Federal navigation channel of Naples to Big Marco Pass. The work entailed in this project consists of dredging the shoaled areas in Gordon Pass and the adjoining settling basin with upland disposal of excavated material in the designated beach placement area south of the inlet. The project work is divided into a Base Bid and 2 Options. Dredging areas shall incorporate an additional 2 feet allowable over-depth beyond the required depths shown on the plans. Work also includes turbidity monitoring, vibration monitoring and control, and endangered species monitoring.
