RFQ Contractor - Construction of Aldie and Lovettsville Fire and Rescue Station Project

The Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of a qualified General Contractor to construct the new Lovettsville Fire and Rescue Station project (Project). The Fire & Rescue Station is located at PIN# 371-48-8833, 371-49-2474 & 371-38-8483, at 12889 Berlin Turnpike, Lovettsville, VA 20180. The proposed facility is approximately 19,200 SF, including first floor and mezzanine floor area. The Project proposes construction of a one (1) story structure including four (4) apparatus bays, apparatus support spaces, bunk rooms, administrative offices, shower and locker areas, kitchen, dining, and mechanical mezzanine floor. The General Contractor shall be responsible for safety and security of neighboring residents, Loudoun County staff, and the public throughout the project construction phase. The Lovettsville Fire & Rescue Station is located within a residential area; therefore, adherence to all local and state ordinances for work hours and noise levels shall be strictly enforced. The existing adjacent Volunteer Fire & Rescue station facility shall remain in full operation without any interruptions during the entire construction phase of the new Lovettsville Fire & Rescue Station project. ALL HAND DELIVERED BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT THIS LOCATION PRIOR TO 4:00 P.M. on the Acceptance Date of the bid in order to be considered. Bids will not be accepted at any other building locations or after 4:00 P.M. Bids will be opened and announced by the Procurement Division staff via audio/video teleconference at 4:30 p.m. (Atomic time) on the Acceptance Date.
