Alpha Loop Extension

The project will extend the existing Alpha Loop from its current terminus south of Old Milton Parkway southeast to Northwinds Parkway. A location map is provided at the end of this document. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following items: The construction of 8’ to 12’ wide concrete multiuse trails. The installation of a pedestrian culvert (precast concrete) underneath Westside Parkway. The reconstruction of Westside Parkway at the culvert installation. The construction of a multiuse trail bridge. The construction of retaining walls (various types). The construction of steel-framed, concrete-decked elevated boardwalks in environmentally sensitive areas. The installation of storm drain structures and pipes. The installation of sanitary sewer manholes and pipes. The installation of conduit and fiber. The installation of lighting. Utility coordination.
