Description

The Work includes the following major items: 1) Installation and maintenance of sediment and erosion control practices. 2) Demolishing/removing existing boat launch, pier, riprap, concrete structure, concrete pad, septic system, gravel road. 3) Mechanical dredging and proper disposal of 175 CY dredged material. 4) Clearing, grubbing, grading of area inside LOD. 5) Construction of a reinforced concrete boat ramp with approximately 2,290 SY of bituminous paving & 2,190 SY of permeable paving, portable restroom enclosure, dumpster pad, signage, and entrance gate. 6) Installation of 450 SF floating pier. 7) Construction of 550 LF of stone sill with 13,350 SF of sand and marsh plantings for living shoreline and placement of 490 CY of sand for kayak launch. 8) Installation of storm drain network and stormwater management facilities including, but not limited to submerged gravel wetland, cobble pilot channel, bio-swale, and grass swale. 9) Restoration of graded & disturbed areas. 10) Landscape & buffer planting.
