Description | Transition Building The Transition Building will be comprised of four apartments of equal size, each containing four bedrooms with closets, two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bathtub), two bathroom sinks and counters, a kitchen with a small dining area, a washer/dryer, a living room, an individual HVAC unit and an individual water heater. The building will be approximately 6,000 GSF. The construction type will match the existing adjacent building of a concrete slab, concrete masonry units with a brick facade and steel joists supporting a low slope roof system. The design is to be ADA accessible and meet all current codes, rules and regulations of the State of Georgia. Georgia Pines The school wishes to enclose the entrance of Georgia Pines and construct a 240 GSF addition to capture additional office space. Other than the restrooms, there will be minimal modification to the existing space. The new addition will include a new structural frame and exterior walls, entrance, roof, new interior office cubicles. The work will include modifications to the existing HVAC, Electrical and plumbing as required. Renovations will include demolition of existing finishes including, flooring, paint, ceilings, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. There are two restrooms that will need to be modified and expanded to meet ADA requirements. The design is to be ADA accessible and meet all current codes, rules and regulations of the State of Georgia. In addition, a new 200 GSF storage building will need to be built. The storage building construction will be a concrete slab, wood framed walls with a sloped roof with asphalt shingles. Design services are anticipated to start in the third quarter of 2021 and be complete by the third quarter of 2022. Construction is scheduled to start by the fourth quarter of 2022 |
