Dock Piling Replacement

As of November 17th, 2022, project has not been awarded. It is expected to be awarded in 2 weeks time. This quote is for wood marina piling replacement services at the City of Fort Lauderdale's Downtown New RIver Docks and the Cooley's Landing Marina. Contractor must provide a copy of their Marine Construction certification along with their quote. All questions must be submitted in writing through the BidSync questions and answers section. The entire quote must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders contained in this Quick Quote. Bidsync will charge no fee on awards made by the City of Fort Lauderdale. Material charges, if any, to the technical specifications of bidding procedures will only be transmitted by written addendum. The work to be performed under the contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, materials transportation, material disposal, fuel, power and water, providing environmental protection, permits (if necessary) and performing all operations necessary to complete the work scope. The New River Downtown Docks is located along the North and South sides of the New River in Fort Lauderdale from the U.S. Highway 1 Tunnel to the Marshal Point Bridge. The pilings to replace are fender pilings along the face of the river's sea wall. A total of 11 pilings need to be replaced. Seven (7) pilings are missing and may have a submerged stub which must be removed and replaced with a piling. Four (4) cracked or rotten pilings need to be removed, replaced and properly disposed. Piling wrap must be installed around the piling from below the mudline to above the high tide elevation.
