Snow Removal and Ice Control Services

This is a non-personal services contract to provide snow removal and ice control services at the following locations: 1) Pittsburgh Engineer Warehouse and Repair Station (PEWARS), 3500 Grand Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15225; and 2) The West View COOP Site, 100 Valley Hi Drive, West View, PA 15229. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, material, equipment, labor, and other items and services necessary to perform snow removal, ice removal and ice control services for the PEWARS installation, which encompasses approximately 50,000 square feet of parking area, 2,500 feet of roadway, and approximately 5,500 square feet of sidewalks, loading docks, exterior stairs, building entrances, emergency exit doors, handicap ramps, flagpole area, fire hydrants and Security Guard area, and the West View COOP Site, which encompasses approximately 3,500 square feet of parking area and 2,750 feet of roadway. The contractor shall also provide on-site pretreatment prior to each storm event as requested by the COR, and must be prepared to start work and provide continuous services until each storm event has ended and all areas are clean and free of snow and ice.
