Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to construct a new facility located in the vicinity of Building 56333 at the intersection at 1130 Garand St, North Fort Hood, Texas. The exact location will be shown by the Contracting Officer. The purpose of this project is to construct a new facility; Replace Re-Locatable Building (RLB) with permanent facility administrative space This acquisition is 100% Total Small Business set aside under NAICS 236220 (Size Standard $39.5 Million). The magnitude of the procurement is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The purpose of this project is to Repair architectural features to the interior and/or exterior of buildings located on Fort Hood to include mold and asbestos abatement, replacement of flooring, ceiling tiles, doors, door frames, painting of facilities, and cleaning of exterior facades at any location that is owned by the Fort Hood Reservation. Also included is miscellaneous site work to support the facility and meet code requirements. The contractor shall provide all plant, supervision, design, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and transportation necessary to complete this scope of work. Except as provided elsewhere in this contract, all work shall comply with applicable State, local and Federal laws and regulations, industry and construction codes and standards, manufacturer's specifications and recommendations, and all contract special provisions, terms and conditions. All work under this contract will be performed within the confines of the Fort Hood Military Installation, at Fort Hood, TX. The Wage Determination: General Decision Number: TX20220230 08/05/2022 Superseded General Decision Number: TX20210230; State: Texas; Construction Type: Building County: Bell County in Texas, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. Bid opening will be conducted on 09 september 2022 @ 10:00 AM (CDT)and completing contract performance 365 days after contract award.
