RFP - Development of P83 Central Business District

Peoria Economic Development Services Department invites proposals for the opportunity to privately develop, finance, construct, and manage a mixed-use development or redevelopment project on city-owned or private property within the P83 Central Business District. Primary objectives for submitted projects include creating a sustainable and strong economic generator, high wage jobs, and to activate an important revenue generating area of the city. Proposals are being sought from fully assembled and experienced development teams that have the financial ability to execute immediately. This RFP is intended to reduce the time needed for the private sector to present realistic, buildable, and appropriate urban and mixed-use developments and streamline the request for City assistance on these proposals. Therefore, a proposer may submit a proposal at any time prior to the final deadline. All questions regarding this RFP should be sent in writing to the designated purchasing agent via email electronically. The City reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any or all proposals. The terms and conditions of any contract resulting from this RFP process are subject to approval by the Peoria City Council. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
