Red Springs High School Athletic Complex

The general project scope consists of the layout and construction of a new sprots complex that includes above and underground utilities (potable water, sanitary sewer electrical, stormwater structures, perimeter and interior fencing, baseball and softball fields and amenities, paved parking area, score boards, concession stand and entrance/ticket buildings and all other items as listed on the construction plans. Project Scope Update A review of the RFI Log from the previous bid was performed and any relevant RFIs and answers were added to the updated RFI log attached. A line item has been added to the updated Bid Takeoff to cover a painted CMU backstop wall for the baseball and softball field. This wall will span from dugout to dugout on each field. The plans have been updated to show this wall along with a cross section of the wall. Some of the allowance values have been adjusted. In light of the amount of undercut that has been experienced so far on this project the undercut line item has been adjusted to include an estimated quantity which will be added to the final bid total. The Bid takeoff and Bid Form has been adjusted accordingly. RFI #12 covered rough grading the site to the following tolerances: Baseball and Softball fields to within 6-inchs of proposed grades Football field to within 1-ft of proposed grade parking lot and gravel drive to top of Subgrade Remainder of site to proposed grades with 6-inchs of topsoil on them This is what the current Contractor should have complete at the end of their contract. Your scope will consist of taking the project from that point to finish grade per the final plans.
