Canoe Creek Road Widening Project - Osceola County

As of September 14, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: It is the intent of this Request for Proposals for Professional Services (PS) to hire one Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pre-qualified consulting engineering firm (hereinafter CONSULTANT) to provide professional Project Development & Environmental Services for the reconstruction of Canoe Creek Road, from a two-lane roadway to a four-way roadway, from U.S. Highway 192/441 to Deer Run Road, a distance of approximately 4.65 miles. The widening includes 5' sidewalks, buffered bike lanes, 10'-12' travel lanes, 16'-22' wide medians, streetlights, and a closed drainage system. The successful proposers shall prove by their qualifications, experience, availability, approach, and plan for the work that they will best serve the overall needs of Osceola County. The selection of the successful proposers shall be at the County's discretion and shall be made in a prompt manner after the receipt and evaluation of all responses.
