| Description | Provide design and construction administration services including, but not limited, architectural and engineering design for a new Animal Shelter facility that will support Animal Control’s processes and facilitate the delivery of public services: Animal Control Enforcement, Animal Shelter Medicine, Euthanasia, Adoption, Vaccination, and Education. Furthermore, any requirements set out in the Association of Shelter Veterinarian’s (ASV) Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters must be met. Such requirements include procedures for sanitation and record keeping as well as standard kennel spaces, durability of building finishes, minimum requirements for primary enclosures, animal enrichment, and sick animal isolation spaces, medical programs, and security for both the animals and the staff. |
