Description

The Project work includes the full depth removal and replacement of PCC street pavement generally located on northbound SE Delaware Avenue between SE Oralabor Road and SE Magazine Road. Stage 1 consists of the patches on northbound SE Delaware Avenue between SE Oralabor Road and SE Lorenz Drive. Stage 2 consists of the patches on northbound SE Delaware Avenue between SE Shurfine Drive and SE Magazine Road. The improvements include approximately 550 SY of 9” thick PCC Class M street pavement, 2,100 SY of 9” thick PCC Class C-SUD street pavement, 75 SY of 9” thick PCC Class M truck apron pavement, 10 SY of 9” thick PCC Class M sidewalk pavement, 40 CY of Class 10 excavation, 15 CY of modified subbase, and 2 minor adjustments of storm manholes. Other associated improvements include removal of sidewalk, cast iron detectable warnings, temporary traffic control, permanent pavement markings, mobilization, and other miscellaneous associated work necessary to complete the project. All patching locations associated with Stage 1 shall be paved using an M mix design, and all patching locations associated with Stage 2 shall be paved using a C-SUD mix design, and a truss screed shall be used on all patches greater than three panels in length. No exceptions will be allowed.
