Description

The City of McAllen is accepting bids from qualifi ed bidders for the construction of roadway improvements along SS115 (23rd street) at the intersections of Jackson Rd. and SH 336 at the intersection of Bus 83. The project consists of intersection improvements with turning lanes .All bidresponses are only to be submitted electronically only through the City of McAllen's bidding portal on or before the aforementioned date and time. Original, hard copy and/or late bids shall not be accepted. A Hardcopy of the Bid Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certifi ed Cashiers Check, payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than fi ve (5) percent (%) of the total bid shall accompany the bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen. (Bid Bond must be received on or before bid opening date and time). Minimum labor rates as established by the Secretary of Labor shall apply and a schedule of labor classifi cation and wage rates to be paid as published in the Federal Register are included to the specifi cations and will be made a part of the contract. The proposed project is fi nanced in part by Federal funds.
