Description

This stream restoration project consists of approximately 1,900 linear feet of an unnamed tributary to Accotink Creek between Keith Avenue to Chain Bridge Road in the City of Fairfax, VA. The project area is bordered by Center Street on the North and by Springman Drive on the South. The total disturbed area will be 3.04 acres. The purpose of this project is to implement a Chesapeake Bay Program best management practice (BMP) urban stream restoration project and improve the water quality and stream erosion characteristics of this tributary.
