Description | Qualified consultants to provide design, engineering and plan preparation services for the 104th Street Trail Connection Project for the City of Louisville/City of Lafayette/Boulder County. The 104th Street Trail Connection Project is a high priority trail connection for the Cities of Louisville and Lafayette and Boulder County. It will provide a great connection for both commuters and outdoor enthusiasts. The selected consultant will prepare engineered construction plans to construct a primarily soft surface, 8-foot wide, multi-use trail that will link the regional Coal Creek Trail to the Rock Creek Trail. The trail will be primarily constructed through several jointly-owned Open Space properties and within Public Right-of-Way. The northern portion of the trail will connect at the Coal Creek Trail north of CO42 on Empire Road. It will then travel east along Empire Road, pass in front of a private residence, turn south and cross CO42 at the newly installed traffic signal, and continue south along 104th Street to the connection with Rock Creek Trail. |
