Description | As of September 27, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Project Description: The project is generally described as the renovation and expansion of an existing metal frame building. The scope includes demolishing an approximately 10,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building and constructing a two-story, approximately 17,900 square foot, administrative building in its place; an existing warehouse space, approximately 24,600 square feet, will be renovated including a full exterior replacement. In total, the project will consist of approximately 42,570 square feet of programmed space. A pole barn approximately 11,900 gross square feet, south of the existing warehouse, will be demolished. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. All executive branch agencies are directed to advance Executive Order 35, dated July 3, 2019.
