Station One Exterior Facade Improvements

Station One was originally constructed in approximately 1977, and has undergone major renovations in 1987, 1991, and 2010. The exterior of the Fire Station is comprised of various finish materials which include brick masonry with stone banding, mansard canopy with standing seam metal roof, and metal siding with trim. The current integration of these materials on the fa ade no longer project an image of a fire station. The exterior renovation will include the Front (North) Elevation, the West Elevation which will terminate at the Elevator Tower, and the East Elevation which will terminate at approximately ten feet form the corner. The exterior improvements will be considered cosmetic and is being replaced with materials to create a new image of an antique firehouse.
