Description | The Selected Contractor shall furnish, unless otherwise noted, all necessary permits, labor, equipment, and materials to complete the following at the Meadow Lake WTP located at 3236 Bass Court, Clay County, Florida: 1.) A new Sodium Hypochlorite Storage and Feed System and Building, including the following items; 2.) Two 1,550-gallon double-walled NaOCl bulk storage tanks and an NaOCl metering pump assembly equipped with PVC backer board, hangars, valves, piping, injection, and controls. 3.) The existing chemical building will be demolished up to the concrete slab. 4.) A new chemical building will be sized to house two proposed and one future 1,550-gallon chemical tank (total of three 1,550-gallon tanks at buildout). Additionally, the chemical building will be designed to be expanded in the future to accommodate a new High Service Pump (HSP) room addition, east of the chemical storage area. 5.) One 0.53-million-gallon (MG) pre-stressed concrete ground storage tank (GST), similar to the existing 500,000-gallon Steel Tank. 6.) Yard Piping Modifications, as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. 7.) Demolition of an existing hydropneumatic tank. 8.) Modifications and upgrades of the plant’s electrical system including new motor control center (MCC) and variable frequency drives (VFDs), along with instrumentation features designed to include future supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and removal of the existing electrical service and replacement with a new Clay Electric electrical service. The majority of the electrical modifications and upgrades are in the existing High Service Pump (HSP) Building. There are additional electrical and control modifications in other areas of the site. All the electrical and instrumentation upgrades are as shown on the drawings or described in the specifications. 9.) Improvements to the existing HSP building will be needed to accommodate the electrical upgrades. 10.) Site improvements. |
