Construction Management Services for Port MacKenzie Rail Bridge Repairs

Provide construction management for the repairs on railroad bridges along the Port MacKenzie Rail Extension near Big Lake, Alaska. The project scope is to repair and rehabilitate seven (7) bridges that sustained damage as a result of the earthquake in 2018. The required repairs include formed concrete repair, crack repair, handrail replacement, embankment filling around the substructure and resetting of the superstructure to open gaps at the ends of the spans. Three (3) of the Seven (7) structures require substantial repairs that involve disassembling the bridges to perform the repair and reassembling the structures to match their pre-earthquake design function.
