CDBG-NR Infrastructure Improvements

Service Area A: Westend lift station improvements. The old lift station has reached its end of life and needs to be replaced. The new station will be moved to a higher elevation to enable better access during inclement/ seasonal weather. The new station will include new pipes, wet well, pumps, valves, electrical, manhole and other components necessary for installation. (CDBG Funded) Service Area B: Roadway improvements to an existing roadway, Edenfield Street, will include milling the existing roadway, construction of various parts of the road base, repairs to the curb/gutter and concrete inlets, new asphalt construction, and other necessary components. (CDBG Funded) Service Area C: (1) Replacement of existing sewer lines serving Evelyn Street from Edenfield Street, east 300 L.F. with two manholes, as well as other necessary components. (2) Construction of a new roadway (currently an unpaved roadway), Evelyn Road, that runs east from Edenfield Street. Improvements will include a new 300 L.F. roadway base construction, construction of new drainage, inlets, and asphalt, as well as other necessary components. (3) Improvements to flood and drainage on Evelyn Street, including 300 L.F. of storm drain and four inlets that run from Edenfield Street East approximately 300 L.F. with new roadway and other necessary components.
