Description

Provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to abate and replace carpet on Joint Base Lew is-McChord (JBLM), Washington in the follow ing building BLDG 5995. Contractor shall provide asbestos abatement and disposal in Building 5994 to include existing flooring, cove base, mastic adhesives and transition strips. All abatements shall be to clean substrate and in accordance w ith WISHA Interim Interpretive Memorandum Washington Department of Labor and Industries #97- 7-G for Mechanical Removal of Asbestos-Containing Floor Tile. In accordance w ith the statement of w ork, specifications & draw ings, and contract documents. Set Aside Status: This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside The NAICS code for the project is 238330 w ith a size standard of $16.5 million. Project Magnitude: The magnitude of this project is more than $100,000 and less than $250,000. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation and not an Invitation for Bid. As a result, there w ill not be a public bid opening BIDDING SCHEDULE/INSTRUCTIONS Section 00100 - Bidding Schedule/Instructions to Bidders INSTRUCTIONS & BASIS FOR AWARD 1. Anywhere in this solicitation where the term "offer" is used, it is hereby changed to read "quote". 2. Anywhere in this solicitation where the term "offeror" is used, it is hereby changed to read "quoter". 3. All communication (including site visit RSVP, solicitation questions/comments, and quote submission) must be done via email to the following POCs: SSG Bond, Terrance Contract Specialist Terrance.j.bond.mil@army.mil Mr. Timothy Greenwell Contracting Officer timothy.e.greenwell.civ@army.mil 4. All quotes are due no later than the date and time specified in Block 13 A of the SF1442. No offer will be accepted if received after this date and time. PDF files shall be searchable and shall allow the Government to copy and paste as text to another document. 5. A site visit is scheduled for August 19, 2022 at 9:00AM PDT. Interested attendees are asked to meet at the McChord Field Visitor Center. This will be the only site visit conducted; requests for additional site visits will be denied. Potential vendors must register with Terrance Bond not later than 2:00 PM PDT on August 19, 2022. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is recommended but not required; vendors are responsible for providing their own PPE. All questions during the site visit will be submitted to Terrance Bond. 6. Any questions concerns, verification or clarification of information of the documents included in the solicitation package shall be emailed to the Contract Specialist no later than 4:00 PM, local time on August 27, 2022. Include in the subject line of the email the Government's solicitation number; failure to do so will lessen the Government's ability to ensure all questions are considered during the solicitation process. 7.
