Description

Project Information: The work consists of Schedule No. 1 - Maintenance dredging of Brazos Island Harbor, Jetty and entrance channels. Estimated quantity is 450,000 cubic yards (CY). Dredged material will be placed at placement area Nearshore Berm BU site 2A/2B. Contractor is to commence work within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Complete the entire work ready for use not later than 26 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the NTP. Options 1-4 are for Sea Turtle Trawling and Relocation. Option 5: Placement of dredged material at Beach Placement area DMPA No.1 and No. 5 in lieu of Nearshore Berm BU site 2A/2B. If awarded, an additional 14 calendar days will be added to the contract duration.
