Description

The scope of work includes all work necessary for the abandonment of existing 6” and 4” asbestos cement pipe (ACP) water mains presently located in West High Point Road, East High Point Road, Delano Lane, back lot areas, and Island Road. All water mains will be replaced with 6” and 8” HDPE and PVC water main to be located in the right of ways for West High Point Road, East High Point Road, Middle Road, Delano Lane and Island Road. Water main abandonment will be by grouting and abandoning in-place utilizing Best Management Practices to minimize breakage during any required removal and disposal of pipe. The plan includes adding Fire Hydrants and restoring the Public ROWs and Private Properties during this construction.
