Description

Providing professional services for the following project: This project includes the roof replacement of the existing Main Building at Augusta State Medical Prison. The Main Building includes medical areas, administration, as well as living quarters, and is approximately 141,933 square feet. The 22 year old modified bitumen built-up roof system is over two separate roof structural systems, 1.) a lightweight concrete over a metal pan and, 2.) a poured concrete roof deck. The existing roof system is to be demolished to the deck and replaced with a single ply membrane roof system with a 20-year NDL warranty. The scope of design services shall include preparation of schematic design and design development documents, construction documents, bidding assistance, negotiation and administration of the contract for construction.
