Polk Parkway Widening, MP 18-22, and Polk Parkway Resurfacing

Include the widening of the Polk Parkway (SR 570) from 2 lanes to 4 lanes between MP 18.028 to MP 22.286, including the construction of an interchange at Braddock Road which shall utilize roundabouts at the ramp terminals with Braddock Road and a new mainline bridge over CR 546. The existing mainline toll plaza will be demolished and new All Electronic Tolling (AET) tolling points will be constructed on the Polk Parkway mainline and the westbound exit and eastbound entrance ramps at Braddock Road. Other improvements include the milling and resurfacing of the interchange ramps at MP 18 (CR 546), widening/reconstruction of Braddock Road to a 4-lane urban section from west of the Polk Parkway Bridge to Berkley Road, realignment of the City of Auburndale Water Treatment Plant access road and improvements to the neighborhood roads south of Braddock Road. Milling, resurfacing and safety upgrades on the Polk Parkway from MP 17.086 to MP 18.028 and MP 22.286 to MP 24.380, including the interchanges at MP 17 (US 92), MP 23 (Pace Road) and MP 24.
