Rattlesnake Creek Stream Restoration

Rehabilitation of the Rattlesnake Creek Stream Restoration project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to preventing erosion, restoring habitat, and improving water quality function of the stream. The approximate length is 1600 LF. Work under this bid can include the following; 1. Modifying the grade of the existing Rattlesnake Creek Stream (top of bank, toe of slope, etc.) 2. Demolition and removal of existing trees, stone, and miscellaneous debris. 3. Installation of in-stream structures such as J-hooks, cross vanes and coir logs. 4. Landscaping and restoration of all disturbed areas. 5. Coordination of the utility pole relocation as required. The pole and utility relocation may include other utilities than Dominion energy. Costs will be not be the contractor’s responsibility. 6. The existing foot bridge shall be removed by the property owner prior to construction beginning.
