offerors of the Department of Veterans Affairs intent to advertise for bids the project entitled Repair Elevators Building 2, 7, 13, 39, & 82 Project No. 515-21-103 to be accomplished at the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) located in Battle Creek, MI.A An Invitation for Bid (IFB) is planned to be issued on or about June 03, 2022. Specifically, the project s general scope of work is the replacement of elevators. The contractor is to furnish all necessary labor, tools, miscellaneous materials, equipment, and supervision as specified in drawings and specifications to replace elevators in Buildings 2, 7, 13, 39 and 82 at the VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, MI. This project will have specialized qualification and experience requirements which will be identified in the solicitation specifications upon issuance. The period of performance for the project is Seven Hundred Thirty (730) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a small business size standard of $16.5 million.
