Resurgence Hall Charter School

Renovations will include: Building ‘A’: renovation of an existing two-story, slab-on-grade worship facility which is approximately 16,500 SF, into an approximately 20,800 SF, three-story middle school building. This will require new structural elements including an intermediate floor system and structural framing, new vertical circulation shafts, new required fire ratings, new thermal envelope requirements such as exterior masonry wall repairs, interior furring, and insulated fenestration, ADA upgrades, new elevator, restroom fixture replacements, reconfiguring existing kitchen to a warming kitchen, new classrooms and offices with industry standard acoustical ratings, tree removal, and water intrusion remediation. Building ‘D’: demolition of a small, free-standing storage structure of approximately 1,120 SF, at the rear of the property to be replaced with an approximately 5,000 SF, three-story administrative building with approximately the same footprint and general location as the existing structure. This building will include early childhood classrooms, administrative offices, conference rooms, staff workrooms, and storage.
