Description

Consists of a once weekly cleanup and disposal of roadway debris from the paved surfaces of State Road 8 (Interstate 10) in Holmes, Walton, and a portion Washington Counties and State Road 83 (US 331) in Walton County. Locations and descriptions of paved lane, ramp and shoulder surfaces are shown in Appendices. Cleanup cycles will be scheduled to commence on Thursday of each week. Weather permitting, each cleanup cycle must be completed within 2 consecutive calendar days. Typical debris removal includes, but not limited to, tire debris, vehicle parts, tarps, lost cargo, metal junk, and any other debris that could pose a safety hazard or cause damage to vehicles.
