Douglass Crossroads/Knox Hill Road Improvements

The Douglass Crossroads & Knox Hill Road project is a resurfacing and widening project that extends approximately 7.3 miles along Douglass Crossroads/Knox Hill Road. Project limits extend along Douglass Crossroads from the intersection of County Road 183S and Douglass Crossroads to the intersection of CB Whitehead Road then it continues along Knox Hill Road from the intersection of CB Whitehead Road to the intersection of Knox Hill Road and County Road 183S in Walton County, Florida. Improvements include milling and resurfacing of an existing two-lane roadway with some minor drainage improvements, safety upgrades, mailbox replacement, erosion control and pavement markings. This project is funded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as part of their Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) and must be administered in accordance with the latest version of the FDOT Manual of Uniform Minimum Standards for Design, Construction and Maintenance for Streets and Highways (also known as the Florida Greenbook).
