Description

Colorado Springs Utilities (Utilities) is seeking a competent and knowledgeable Contractor with demonstrable expertise in pipeline design. The Contractor shall provide final engineering and a set of drawings for the installment of a 20” pipeline to replace existing 12” and 16” gas pipeline, per Colorado Springs Utilities Standards. The Contractor shall include all pertinent information in the extent of the project, including all utilities via Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), crossings, and easements (if applicable). The design drawings shall include information regarding grading, pressure testing, and a materials list. The engineering shall factor in roadways, crossings, vehicular traffic, pedestrian traffic, and peak times of use for design and installation for the schedule.
