Construction Management Services - Razing and Replacement of the Department of Legislative Services Building

The Department of Legislative Services (“DLS”) has engaged the Maryland Stadium Authority (“MSA”) to oversee and manage the replacement of its headquarters building in Annapolis, Maryland (hereinafter the “Project”). MSA has engaged an Architectural/Engineering (“A/E”) firm to produce Programming and Conceptual Design documents. Links to these documents are included in Attachment C. Through this Request for Proposal (the “RFP”), MSA is seeking a highly qualified Construction Management (“CM”) firm to provide preconstruction services as described herein. At the conclusion of the preconstruction period, the CM will have the possibility of entering into a Guaranteed Maximum Price (“GMP”) contract for the construction of the Project. The scope of work for pre-construction services includes without limitation, design and constructability reviews, logistics planning, cost estimating, and project scheduling as described in Section 3 of this RFP.
