Description

Projects include improvements to the pedestrian infrastructure in the City of Beacon. Along the Main Street corridor from Route 9D to Veterans Place, curb extensions or "bump-outs" will be installed at all crosswalks with ADA compliant sidewalk ramps. Also included is incidental drainage work, signing and striping, and sidewalk installation. The signal improvements include upgrades to the pedestrian signals at select intersections in the city.
