Description

Question Deadline: 8/29/2023 12:00 PM The Project for which the Work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only part is generally described as follows: Provide all plans, labor, equipment, and materials required to demolish/remove/dispose of an existing stream crossing consisting of four (4) 5-foot diameter plastic culverts by 40-feet long, construction of a stub abutment system with a 55-foot-long by 24-foot-wide modular steel girder bridge structure, wooden deck, stream restoration, handling stream flow diversion/pumping, erosion and sedimentation control, traffic control, all site work and excavation required to complete the project and site restoration, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Bank Check or Bid Bond payable to the order of the Owner in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the Bid as security for proper execution of the Agreement and submitting other documents as required by the Bidding Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each of said bonds to be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, all in the respective forms provided in the Bidding Documents. The successful Bidder will also be required to furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Bidding Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all contract provisions including compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All employees must be paid the Prevailing Minimum Wages established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor & Industry. Verification of compliance must be provided by all Contactors, including Subcontractors.
