Description

The work performed under this contract may include, but may not be limited to milling and resurfacing of existing arterial and collector roadways, paving base courses of failed roads as directed by the project manager to include asphalt structural and friction courses; reconstruction of existing sidewalk and curb to facilitate construction or to upgrade existing pedestrian facilities to meet ADA requirements; removal of existing (Sod or Grass) turf, re-grading existing grassed shoulders or adjacent slopes; incidental repair of irrigation sprinkler systems; utility coordination incidental to the construction; incidental coordination with municipalities in Hillsborough county including inter-local agreements; incidental coordination of work within CSX Corporation (CSX Transportation, Inc.) railroad rights-of-way; restoration and daily cleanup of construction site; removal and disposal of excess material from the right-of-way; earthwork at the cost of the contractor; sodding; pavement markings; sign removal and installation; restoration of damaged signalization items such as pedestrian signals, poles, loops, and pull boxes; directional boring for installation of loop lead-ins, and modifications to cabinets due to damages during milling and resurfacing, or due to conflicts encountered when replacing sidewalk ramps.
