| Description | STIP ID 209791R This slope has a history of falling rocks. This project will scale the slope to increase highway safety and increase slope stability. As of March 09, 2023, this project is in Final Planning status. Preliminary engineering is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2021 and environmental design is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022. The contract advertisement is expected in fourth quarter of 2023 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the second quarter of 2024.
