Rehabilitation/Construction of Canalway Trail - Fort Edward (GFFC) to Kingsbury (New Swamp Road)

Rehabilitate existing Canalway pedestrian/bicycle trail tie-in portions; construct new Canalway pedestrian/bicycle trail segment from Old Champlain Feeder Canal (terminus of the existing paved pedestrian-bicycle trail adjacent to the confluence of the Glens Falls Feeder Canal and Old Champlain Canal) in the Town of Fort Edward to the intersection of Tow Path Road and New Swamp Road in the Town of Kingsbury construct several prefabricated steel truss pedestrian-bicycle bridge segments with H-Pile and spread footing foundations and cast-in-place concrete substructures/wingwalls; install precast concrete pedestrian-bicycle box culvert under RT 196 with precast concrete wingwalls and GRES retaining walls; perform clearing and grubbing operations; perform excavation, grading and slope filling operations; prepare subgrade, install and grade subbase materials, install crusher run stone surface course, perform asphalt paving operations; and install fencing, bridge railing and landscaping items.
